Cooperation between netgo group GmbH and asbrucon GmbH

From development support to SAP S/4HANA & BTP lead project management: asbrucon impresses with competence and integrates S4, BTP, Salesforce Commerce & IT-Scope for netgo group

netgo group GmbH is a renowned German IT service company, specialized on trading with hardware and software as well as providing comprehensive services in the area of modern workplace, IT security, IT processes, cloud computing and managed services. With over 30 sites and about 1.350 committed employees, the group realized an impressive revenue of about 370 million Euro in 2022. Last but not least, netgo was praised as the best IT service provider 2022 and best managed service provider 2023 by the IT magazine ChannelPartner.

Challenge: Process harmonization and optimization

In the course of a merger, netgo group started a groundbreaking project with the target to harmonize, optimize and automate sales, procurement and finance processes in corporation with a renowned consulting company. The scope included the integration of SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, SAP CPI, Salesforce and the company-own eStore called centralhub.

At first, asbrucon was involved in the project as a BTP and CPI development service provider and took over further responsibilities in the role of solution architect and project manager during the project.

Strategic Planning and successful implementation under time pressure

In spite of an ambitious time schedule and numerous challenges, a detailed plan was developed first. This well organized and thoroughly thought through approach turned out to be a major success factor for the project. The definition of work streams for sales, procurement and finance formed the basis, while at the same time interfaces to Salesforce, centralhub, SAP Subscription Billing, Matrix42 and ITscope were being worked on.

Efficient integration and streamlining of processes

asbrucon migrated a vast number of companies of the netgo group to S/4HANA Cloud and integrated them into the core processes seamlessly. From the preparation of quotations to customer orders and financial accounting, the processes were successfully streamlined and optimized. Some existing processes could even be partially or completely automated and customers were smoothly connected via channels like EDI, XRechnung and ZUGFeRD – for procurement as well as invoicing.

The successful implementation of the project underpins the expertise of asbrucon and their ability to effectively manage complex IT integrations and deliver customer-oriented solutions.
